How do Tenancy Periods work?
Get the overview of the Tenancy period in Admin Hub.
What is a Tenancy Period?
The tenancy period follows the start and end date of the resident's lease. You can only have one active tenancy period connected to a unit at once so two tenancy periods cannot overlap. The tenancy period differs from the move in and out date. The move in and out date can be placed either before or after the tenancy period starts and end date. This means that you can give the residens access to the Resident App before the lease starts and move the users to inactive users by the move out date.
Why make tenancy periods?
With the Tenancy periods you are able to view former, current and upcoming tenancy periods along with the connected resident data.
Functions:
In a Tenancy Period you can:
- Edit the start and end date.
- Add and edit residents for the current period.
- See the activity log for that specific tenancy period.
This function makes it easier for you as an administrator to access all data connected to the resident's tenancy period.
Find the Tenancy Period in the new version of Admin hub 2.5.0 under Units.
