How do I delete a Global Knowledge Base?
There are multiple ways to delete or simply deactivate your global knowledge base.
How to delete a global category?
- Find the relevant category.
- Click on the little square with a pen.
- Click on Delete category.
Please note that this will delete the category on all projects.
How to delete/deactivate a global inquiry?
- Select the global template or a relevant project.
- Find the relevant inquiry.
- Click on the little square with the pen.
- From here you can deactivate the inquiry - it will no longer show in the home assistant. Or you can delete the inquiry completely from the global template.
How to delete/deactivate on a specific project?
- Select the relevant project.
- Select the type and then the relevant category or inquiry.
- Click on the little square with the pen.
- Toggle the Deactivate category/inquiry and click Save Changes.
You have now made a local overwrite of the category/inquiry and have deactivated the category/inquiry for the selected project. It will not show up in the Home Assistant in the resident app.
